Adding Pictures to Oracle SO’s
- Take Pictures
- Save pictures in a central location
- MUN is using the following path - W:\Shipping Documents\Daily Shipping Photos\
- Log into Office 365 – SharePoint
- You will be taken to the bellow screen. Select “Share Point” (In yellow)
- The below screen appears. Go to the search bar and type in “Warehouse”
- On the left side, select “Images” (if the option’s not available, select orders>Images)
- Select the organization of the photos
- Open the “Daily Shipping Photos” folder (W:\Shipping Documents\Daily Shipping Photos\) from the warehouse drive
- Select shipping documents
- Daily shipping photos
- Select the organization your photos are from (MUN/US2)
Note: Photos are organized in “to upload” folder for photos that need to be uploaded to SharePoint. Once you rename the photo with the appropriate Delivery number (photo on right), you can upload it to SharePoint (next few steps) and then Delete it from the “To Upload” folder.
- Click and hold the file you want to upload and drag it to anywhere in the yellow area as seen below.
TIP: to make both windows visible like shown below, click and hold anywhere as indicated in step 1. Next drag to the areas on the left or right as seen in step 2 until you see a semi-transparent fill outline and then let go.
- Once you drag and drop, you will see a notification like below to let you know the file has been uploaded successfully.
Once all photos in the “to do” folder have been successfully uploaded to SharePoint, you can delete the photos from the “to do” folder.
Opening Uploaded File once in Oracle Main View
- Once in OM Entry User, Select Transactions (it may look different to you)
- Select organization (MUN/US2)
- Select “Deliveries” on the left side of the screen and type the delivery number then “Find”
- Look for paperclip icon in the menu – it will have a yellow “paper” in it—click it
- Once the attachment window opens, you will see “Open Document…” button – click it
- The link will open on your browser and ask you to log in (if you aren’t already)
- Enter the same credentials from the very first step
- Click on any of the attached photos that pertain to the delivery number you’ve searched for
