AMAZON: MISSING REF02 (REF*BX*) - MISSING ARN NUMBER
ABOUT THIS DOCUMENT:
This document explains any issues with the ARN (REF-BX) field.
Resolution #1: This field is set as mandatory in the map, so therefore, it will fail if missing completely in Failed Ops. This will be Resolution #1 in this file.
Resolution #2: If the ARN is NOT missing, and is incorrect, it will go to Amazon, who will in turn send out an error email message. See this resolution for that fix.
RESOLUTION #1
Failed operation in Bizlink:
Document rejected. Unable to validate target document. There must be a minimum of 1 instance(s) of ST.HL_SHIPMENT.REF_BX.REF02 - 0 instance(s) found
This means the ARN is missing.
1. Download .ucc file in the Failed Operations. Save as "-mod" file.
2. Open it in Notepad++. Go to the 6000 line and get the PO#. Copy it.
3. See "AMAZON PORTAL - GETTING ARN INSTRUCTIONS"
4. Open the saved file, and go to Record 3700 - Position 291. Highlight 11 spaces first and paste the number. This way it doesn't remove any spaces since this is fixed flat file. Save file.
5. Open Filezilla and transfer the file to the Oracle PRD folder below. Click and drag the file over.
6. In Biz, go to Server - Services and click the green arrow button to poll the 856. Check the operations.
7. Go to Failed Operations, Assign the task, add notes and Resolve.
***AMAZON PORTAL - GETTING THE ARN NUMBER***
This is for failed operation errors, otherwise Amazon has them in
1. Log into the Amazon Portal and change accounts to CA or US.
2. Go to Orders - Shipments Menu.
3. Click on View Shipments created in the last 10 days.
4. Click on Shipments Pending ASN Submission
5. In far left side, in the search shipments box, paste the PO# given in the email.
6. You will see the ARN come up. It is the Shipment ID (ARN). Copy this number.

Issue #1
Description:
The ASN '2402867' (BSN02) does not have data in REF02 (REF*BX*) segment. Amazon expects all EDI856s with Collect POs to have valid Amazon Reference Number (ARN) in REF02 segment.
1. Find the .edi File in Biz by looking up the filename.
2. Click on the sunglass icon next to one of the Type EDI-X12s for this file. Save with a -mod on the end of the file to Errors folder.
3. Open the file to edit it in Notepad ++.
4. In the BSN01, change the "00" to "05".
5. Go to the REF where the BX code is and put in the correct ARN. Save file.
6. Copy the file to the \\hqmun-105\testinbound directory. Run the Simple Scan Service in Biz and check operations.
NOTE: MOVE ALL EMAILS FROM AMAZON IN THE COMPLIANCE\AMAZON\ARNMISSING FOLDER WHEN DONE FIXING THEM.
